The
Exchange has helped find families for over 3,500 Northwest children since
its inception. Each year we connect thousands of families from all over

The
Northwest Adoption Exchange (NWAE):
- Features waiting children photolisting the state of Alaska,
Idaho, Oregon, and Washington
- Facilitates placements for families with home studies from all over the United States
- Provides information about adoption in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington
- Has adoption professionals available to answer your questions;
Provides information and referrals on a wide variety of adoption issues
- Creates public awareness about waiting children and special needs adoption
- Advocates for and develops project to expand support services for families throughout the adoption process
- Provides consultation, training, articles, and technical assistance to adoption agencies, social workers, and adoptive parent support groups
- Maintains six other programs designed to facilitate and support Northwest
Adoptions including:
