Child's name: JesseNumber: C6964 Birthdate: 4/96 State: Washington Listed: April 2008, Updated 9/09 If you have completed an adoption homestudy
and would like to have your information forwarded to this child's worker, contact us. Jesse’s passion is fishing, and he goes whenever he has the chance. He loves the outdoors! He also enjoys kicking a soccer ball, throwing a football, and riding his bike. Jesse’s great love for animals has him hoping his new family loves them, too. He would love to have family pets. Jesse’s positive qualities, such as his politeness, friendliness, and great sense of humor, are most readily apparent when he has a predictable daily routine; rules, expectations, and limits that are clear and consistent; and a caring adult nearby to help him stay on track. Jesse likes to laugh and tell jokes and he can be a delightful conversationalist, especially one-on-one. He’s engaging and seems to have a wonderful memory. Jesse has made significant behavioral gains over the years in foster care, and he continues to do better all the time with the support of very stable, structured child care and a mental health program that includes bi-monthly counseling and medication to help him have better internal controls and lessen his symptoms of attention difficulties and high energy. Jesse will most likely require such therapeutic supports for the foreseeable future. While Jesse would love to have a mom and a dad, he could do wonderfully well with a single dad who has a strong support system of family, friends, and community resources. Jesse would benefit from being an only child or the youngest of older, emotionally and behaviorally healthy teenage or adult children.
