Guitar star, Brennan is at the top of his class, and loves music, and science. He is tall and quiet. He likes some sports, such as football but is more inclined to music and science. He enjoys being outdoors riding his bike or camping. He reads books that relate to science and achievements such as the Guiness Book of World Records. He is involved with his church youth group. Gregory, who is a Lego champion, has a smile that is contagious and his energy is inspiring. He enjoys buiding projects with Legos and reading about the solar system. He is also involved with his church youth group. A chess guru, Angel is vivacious, curious and a "busy bee." She does well in school and will adapt to almost any kind of activity making the best of it at all times. Angel is always happy and ready to undertake any new project. She has an analytical mind and asks many questions. She has a great sense of humor, too. Her desire to share with others gives her an advantage when it comes to making friends. She likes to dance and emanates self confidence and kindness. Angel loves wearing dresses and playing with other children. She is outgoing, creative, and always looking for the positive in any situation. Brennan, Gregory, and Angel have therapeutic supports over the past two years since coming into foster care to address their individual issues, as well as their feeling of grief and loss. The children feel responsible for being removed from their parnts’ care. The children are not yet legally free. Brennan is a tall, slender, young teen who is in good health. His demeanor is generaly calm and attentive. Gregory, who has a small build, is in good health, too. He is making good progress in overcoming some learning challenges and he is working on handling his anger in appropriate way. Angel has a speech impediment that is being addressed with a specialist, but she is developmentally on track. In fact she has the highest IQ of all her sibblings and can best most anyone at chess. The children have another sister who is in a separate foster home whom they visit weekly. They will need to be able to maintain contact with her as they are growing up.While some extended family members have been visiting with the children on various occasions, such as birthdays and holidays, none of them will not be a permanent resource for the children. Brennan, Gregory and Angel would be a great fit in a family that can actively participate in their educational pursuits, sports, music, science, and outdoor activities. The children play well together and enjoy each other's company. They, of course, thrive on quality individual time with care providers. Receiving such one-on-one time with their adoptive parents will allow them to express their feelings and to get the attention they need. |
