Please meet RUACH (10/03), NAVAH (6/06), and NACHUM (5/08) – these brothers are energetic and playful, and most importantly, love to be cuddled. All three boys are developmentally on or above target for their age. The boys are not yet legally free.

Ruach is a charmer with beautiful green eyes, freckles, and a smile that can light up a room! Ruach thrives on attention from adults, is extremely bright for his age and loves to learn and experience new things. He is more than ready to begin kindergarten in the fall. Ruach knows his letters and numbers, can read short sentences and is learning addition and subtraction. He is also very artistic and loves to spend time drawing and coloring. While there have been a few concerns regarding Ruach's communication skills, it appears that he is very talkative and has no difficulty communicating when he is with people who are familiar to him.

Navah is the quietest of the boys and will take a little longer to "warm up" to new people and places. He often looks to his big brother for reassurance and security. When first placed into care, Navah had significant anxiety and was frequently tearful. However, the structure, consistency, nurturing, and patience in his foster home have helped to alleviate his anxieties. Navah has warm brown eyes and a shy smile that will melt your heart!

Nachum is very close in height and weight to Navah. Nachum has dark brown hair and brown eyes and is a very good natured baby who sleeps through the night, eats well, and is just starting to say words like "mama" and "dada." He is now walking, and is always on the move exploring his world!

Ruach and Navah have both completed comprehensive psychological evaluations. Recommendations from these evaluations were for both boys to continue in have regular trauma focused therapeutic supports in place and for caregivers to provide them with structure, consistency, and stability.

Ruach, Navah, and Nachum are the youngest of twelve siblings. The three oldest siblings reside out of state and have had little contact with Ruach, Navah, Nachum. The boys came into foster care in June 2008 with their other six older siblings. Ruach, Navah, and Nachum have weekly visitations with the other six and see them on special occasions such as birthdays and holidays. The family chosen to adopt these three will need to be able to assist these little ones in maintaining their significant connections to their siblings.

Ruach, Navah, and Nachum will do best in a loving family where they are the only children. The family chosen for the boys will need to be able to provide the patience, structure, and consistency they need. Their new folks should also be committed to thorough adoption preparation and transition planning and be able to lay out clear expectations for the kids. It will be expected, too, that the adoptive family advocate for Ruach, Navah, and Nachum to receive any and all services that they might need in regards to their educational, physical, and mental health development. Most of all, Ruach, Navah, and Nachum need and want a nuturing and stable family that they can call their own.
