Greg, who is not yet legally free, came into foster care most recently in March 2009. After taking an adoption preparation class recently, he has genuinely begun to look forward to being adopted and becoming part of a loving family, where he can thrive and grow. He would love to have a caring, attentive dad in his new family who will want to do things with him. Therapeutic supports are in place to help Greg deal with his feelings of grief, loss, and abandonmnet and to encourage him to talk about his feelings and thoughs. This has been a good experience for him, and he is now feeling more secure with his future. Once Greg becomes legally free, there may be mediation to determine what level of post adoption contact may be appropriate for his birth mother to have. Greg longs to have a stable, loving home environment. He gets along with all children, and has a lot of love to give. Greg is a handsome, vibrant boy, who would be an asset to any family.
