Meet Callie

Callie is excited to share some of her story through our In-Depth Profiles, a NWAE project that empowers youth to speak directly to potential adoptive families. Learn more about In-Depth Profiles™

Loves: German Shepherds
Excited about: Traveling the world
Big plans: Becoming a lawyer
Wants to find: A family to love and support her

Put a camera in her hands and Callie will get lost behind the lens capturing the world around her. Callie is a driven kid with big dreams. She’s clever, intelligent, hard-working, and has never met a stranger. She has a real knack for making friends and is a kind person.

For her In-Depth Profile, Callie chose to share some things about herself in this collection of graphic info cards.

Callie is a huge dog lover, and German Shepherds are her favorite. It’s no surprise Callie is an animal lover because her empathy, compassion and friendliness really shine through in everything she does. Callie also has a passion for travel. She’s already been to Mexico and is looking forward to going back, as well as visiting other destinations around the world.

Currently in her sophomore year, Callie is an awesome student and particularly loves math. She’s got her eyes on the future and wants to be an attorney one day. She’s had her sight set on that goal for years now and has done her research, talking to attorneys about her goals and hoping to volunteer in a law office soon. It's fair to say Callie is dedicated and has a strong sense of justice.

Callie’s team is eager to hear from families who are kind and won’t give up on this awesome kid. Callie herself is somewhat flexible when it comes to an adoptive family but wants to be respected for who she is and supported as she launches into the next phase of her life.

If you can be that family for Callie, please reach out. We’re excited to find her the permanent home she deserves.

Could you see Callie as part of your family?
