Christian lights up any room he’s in with his beaming smile! A little reserved and shy at first, as soon as Christian becomes familiar with you, he is bound to smile, hug, and enjoy your company.

Christian enjoys watching movies, and his current favorites are Cars and Aladdin. He also loves anything that has to do with Elmo!

Sensory-based activities are very important to Christian, and he especially likes to rock in his rocking chair and play with this toys that are light and sound focused. These toys are especially nice in helping Christian transition from one activity to another. He has a lot of fun with bubbles too!

Christian loves school which he attends with a 1:1 nurse. He enjoys walking in the school setting. Walking in school is his transition tool between activities and helps maintain his focus to learn new things. In school, Christian is also working hard on his communication skills. He has a communication board that has textile buttons he can push to ask, for example, “more”, “stop” and “different”.

Per his caregivers, Christian is easy to bond and connect with.

Christian’s team is looking forward to hearing from families with strong medical support and a willingness to continue to engage Christian in his support services. Families with multiple caregivers would be great, as Christian needs someone to be awake at all times. Having community support would be extra helpful to caring for Christian.

Families willing to advocate for Christian’s medical needs and development would be a great fit for him. Homes that are on the quieter side would also be beneficial for Christian.
