Meet Hezekiah and Izaiah

Special Note: Guardianship Family Needed

These children are waiting for a loving, committed family who can provide long lasting care. Learn more about Guardianship here.

Brothers Hezekiah and Izaiah are looking for a family who will cheer them on at their games, share their love of playing, and support them.

Hezekiah is a talented athlete who loves putting his skills to the test! He is completely sports-minded and loves to play and compete in just about any sport. He is motivated to improve and excel in whatever he is doing. Basketball is very important to Hezekiah. He loves playing, watching, and teaching others about basketball. His favorite team to watch is the Portland Trailblazers! One of his most favorite activities is getting to shoot hoops with his brother, Izaiah.

Hezekiah also loves playing board games, especially when it’s a classic, like Uno or Connect Four. Whether he’s playing sports, riding his scooter, or playing at the park with his brother, he’s almost always guaranteed to be outside. His caseworker describes him as being considerate and caring, always wanting to do things for other people.

Izaiah is a big people-person. He’s confident, polite, and thrives in social situations! He’s very outgoing, and is always concerned with making sure everyone is involved in what he or a group is doing.

Izaiah shares many interests with his big brother, of course! He is also athletic and loves to take on any sport in front of him. Izaiah is also a big fan of playing chess and Connect Four. Recently, he’s taken an interest in learning more about animals, discovering fun facts, and sharing those facts with other people. He could tell you anything about cats and dogs!

Hezekiah and Izaiah both thrive in structured environments where they know what to expect. Like most kids approaching their teenage years they might require gentle reminders at times to complete their daily activities around the house and at school.

Hezekiah and Izaiah both enjoy school and are doing well. They both have a lot of friends and are frequently surrounded by their peers at activities for school. Hezekiah and Izaiah are both also well-liked by their teachers and other adults that are in the school. They are working hard at learning to advocate for themselves.

Hezekiah and Izaiah need caregivers who can be committed to seeking out any services they need now and any needs that might arise in the future as they get older. Hezekiah and Izaiah would love to find a stable home and a placement with consistent caregivers who can help them feel secure.
