Meet Zak

Always down for a good conversation, Zak is a social butterfly who thrives off of spending time with his friends and peers. It’s no wonder his favorite pastime is hanging out with his friends!

Zak is an athletic, sporty teen who loves testing out his skills at swimming and parkour. He’s also interested in sports and hopes to be able to join a school team soon. When indoors, Zak loves playing video games and watching movies.

In school, Zak does best with support from his teachers and caregivers. His caseworker reports that while his goals for the future change constantly, he is hard working, independent, and has shown his responsibility in maturing.

Zak’s caseworker especially appreciates his sense of humor and wit. She notes that he is very talkative and loves sharing stories.

Zak is an excellent advocate for himself and for others. He is able to articulate his emotions and advocate for the things he wants and needs in a positive way. Zak is described as kind, considerate, and respectful by those that know him.

While Zak has expressed some preference for a family setting with a mother and father future, he is open-minded and willing to learn more about families of all configurations. Zak’s team would like to hear from families without much younger children, however, so Zak can have the space and attention he deserves.

Can you see Zak in your family? Reach out to us! We're excited to find Zak the permanent home and support that he deserves.
