Meet Robyn

Robyn is excited to share some of her story through our In-Depth Profiles, a NWAE project that empowers youth to speak directly to potential adoptive families. Learn more about In-Depth Profiles™.

Favorite food: Chocolate
Dreams to be: A famous singer
Known for: Her outgoing personality
Hopes to find: A permanent family

“Social, caring, and friendly,” as described by her caseworker, Robyn is the kid-to-know! On her list of things most important to her, you’re likely to find her friends at the very top. She makes connections easily and really enjoys working with little kids as well as spending time with the adults she’s close to. Simply put, Robyn loves being around her people!

Creative and trendy, Robyn is described as being a “girly girl,” who loves to spend time doing her hair, make-up, and picking out the perfect outfit. Robyn’s creativeness doesn’t stop there though, she is a natural born performer. Robyn loves dancing, acting and above all else, singing! It’s no surprise she wanted to highlight her singing and her dream of becoming a famous pop star for her In-Depth Profile.

Heading into 9th grade, Robyn is excited, and a little nervous about starting high school. Robyn does well in school. She’s a good student and very social. She plans on joining the cheerleading team and maybe basketball too. Good with numbers, her favorite subject is math. Math! Extra supports in reading and writing will help Robyn continue to excel in her studies.

Robyn has important community connections and supports that she would love to maintain. Robyn’s team hopes to hear from adoptive families willing to help her facilitate these relationships and keep her connected to these important people in her life.

Families with no other children in the home (or who have children who are much older) would greatly benefit Robyn, as she’s expressed a desire to be the only child—and she definitely deserves that one-on-one attention!
