Meet Legend

Legend can also enjoy downtime with video games - he can talk your ears off about his favorite games . He enjoys listening to music or playing on his tablet and has taken up a nightly request to have his caregivers read to him before bed.

Legend is very bright, curious, and thoughtful! At school he is working to catch up in academics and thus encounters some struggles. A family that can be an advocate and active participant in his learning experience to help him be successful would benefit him.

Legend enjoys connecting with people! His team is particularly interested in families that can help Legend by providing him with some guidance in social situations and help him build up his interpersonal relationships. Extra support and reassurance also go a long way for Legend.

His caregivers report his willingness to help, and desire to learn all sorts of things! He is currently learning table manners and helping out with chores. Legend wants to try everything, strives to be the best at everything he does, and likes to help out the house.

It would be ideal if Legend is the only youth in the home, as he would thrive on one-on-one attention from a family. If there are other youth in the home, it would be best that they are much younger than Legend, or older teenagers or young adults who can be positive role models for Legend. He responds very well to having a strong male caregiving figure who can be firm but loving and communicate clearly with Legend.
