Meet Ulyssa

Bust out the instruments, Ulyssa is ready to start a band! Musically inclined and curious, Ulyssa has already set a goal for herself of learning to play 20 different instruments by the time she turns 20. How many does she play right now? 11! Piano and guitar top the list.

When she’s not busy composing her latest musical masterpiece, Ulyssa loves to stay active. She enjoys running and hopes to run a marathon someday. She also enjoys working with and caring for horses.

In the 9th grade, Ulyssa has been learning a lot in school and is particularly excited to learn about religions from all different cultures. She’s hopeful to be able to participate in a running start program to start college and graduate school early. A smart kid who is already thinking ahead, Ulyssa has her sights set on criminal psychology, psychology, and interior design.

Ulyssa is also involved in some school activities. She loves participating in school concerts and poetry slams.

Described by her caseworker as insightful and caring, Ulyssa has great relationships with her biological siblings and would love to stay connected to them. Adoptive families who would help Ulyssa maintain and nurture those relationships would be in her best interest.

Ulyssa has expressed an interest in finding a family with other kids, as she would love to have siblings. Bonus points if a family speaks Spanish! Ulyssa has been interested in learning Spanish.
